Pitch

A launchpad for frequencies: deterministic generative sound systems that run continuously.

Pitch is a launchpad for frequencies. A frequency is a deterministic generative system (a state space, a step function, a seed and a tick trigger) that runs continuously and produces sound as a by-product of its own evolution. It is not a track, not a playlist, and not a model that guesses what music should sound like.

There are two kinds. A generative frequency (launched with Advanced, like frequency #0) is a process, not a file: its sound is computed from the seed and nothing is hosted. A screamed frequency plays its creator's own recording, up to five seconds, published with the coin and fixed on-chain by its SHA-256; the pool plays it, with price as pitch, volume as swell and liquidity as echo. Both run the same seeded system and checkpoint chain.

Anyone can launch one. There is no launch token, no allowlist and nothing to burn: a launch is a single transaction on Robinhood Chain that creates the frequency's token, opens its pool against WETH, locks the liquidity and makes the creator's first buy.

What a launch consists of

  • A complete specification anyone can re-run from the seed, stored content-addressed and pinned on-chain by its hash.
  • A provenance document stating what the work draws on and what it does not claim to be.
  • Listenability bounds fixing scale, tempo, voice count and envelope before launch.
  • A fixed-supply token (1,000,000,000, no mint, no burn) and one Uniswap v4 pool paired against WETH, with the whole supply locked in it.
  • A runtime escrow, funded by 0.70% of every trade, that pays for each tick of the frequency.

Where the fee goes

Every trade pays 2%. Half goes to the Pitch platform. The other half is the frequency's share: 70% to its runtime escrow, 25% to its creator and 5% to the Pitch team. The split is fixed by the protocol and identical for every frequency.
